Feeling Empty?

When we have an overall sense of emptiness, it is likely that we are suffering from spiritual “hunger pains.” The living Word of God is our spiritual food. There are several scriptures that speak about feeding upon His word. Ezekiel equates the eating of God’s Word to the sweetness of honey, and Jeremiah tells how eating scripture echoed the joy and rejoicing found in his heart.

“And He said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you.” So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.” Ezekiel 3:3  Continue reading “Hunger Pains”

POWERFUL TESTIMONIES

Rejuvenate!

REJUVENATE…
is my word for today…
for as I awakened…
this word I heard Him say.
So Lord,
I take this weekend to rest…
to get rejuvenated…
so I can be my best.
To get healing…
for my body, mind, and soul…
for REJUVENATE!…
is what I have been told.
And as I looked it up…
this definition I did see.
“to make one feel or look young, healthy, or energetic again”…
so Lord, this is what I want to be.
I give You my life…

and ask for rejuvenation…
with healing and restoration…
for a total transformation.

LORD, I Will Trust in You!

As I prayed today, I heard the words to this song. It is a good reminder that no matter what we see and what battles we face, we can still trust Him with our lives.  Yes, He is our Mighty Warrior– The King of our fight. Even if He does not give us the answers as we cry out to Him, we can still trust in Him.

Would you define yourself as a bondservant for Christ? The Greek word for bondservant conveys a strong sense of “slave” over that of a “servant.” So, for a Christian to be God’s bondservant, they must desire to give unconditional service and loyalty to their Master.

“Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”

But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.  Also, we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”John 6:67-69 (NKJV)

Bondservants serve God with a grateful heart. They acknowledge His authority and the forgiveness of sin through His victory over the cross. Salvation (a free gift offered to all) is so precious to them, they ask God to fill them with His love and power to accomplish His perfect will. The bondservant of Christ understands that all glory belongs to God and they serve Him with this purpose in mind.

Servants and slaves are given tasks daily. With a desire to please their master, they strive to accomplish their assignments with diligence and integrity.
