REJUVENATE…
is my word for today…
for as I awakened…
this word I heard Him say.
So Lord,
I take this weekend to rest…
to get rejuvenated…
so I can be my best.
To get healing…
for my body, mind, and soul…
for REJUVENATE!…
is what I have been told.
And as I looked it up…
this definition I did see.
“to make one feel or look young, healthy, or energetic again”…
so Lord, this is what I want to be.
I give You my life…
and ask for rejuvenation…
with healing and restoration…
for a total transformation.

God Prunes With Love
“He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” John 15:2
I view my past illness, a brain tumor that caused nearly a decade of clinical depression and near death, as an answered prayer. In days gone by, I often petitioned God to remove me from the public school system. But my prayers were never prayers of true faith. No, they were prayers of desperation and hopelessness. I never quit my job to pursue a different career because finances were always priority. I didn’t believe God would provide for my family in the same manner I was able to provide as a teacher. Relying on myself was easier than trusting God, especially when it came down to future finances. This is where my thinking fell short. Scripture says God will provide for our NEEDS…. Not for every want and desire, comfort or luxury. Continue reading “God Prunes With Love”

Jesus was often moved to compassion and would heal physical and spiritual suffering. Continue reading “Healed By A Compassionate God”
The Promise Of Forgiveness
1 John 1:9 is a PROMISE. We will find forgiveness in Christ if we confess our sins and repent of our ways. This is a blessed assurance. God will never say, “No, I will not accept your confession of sin and heart felt apology. I do not forgive you. I do not want a relationship with you.”
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 (NKJV) Continue reading “The Promise Of Forgiveness”
