Lessons From An Olive Tree

Author: Cheryl Zelenka

The Hebrew word for olive tree is es shemen, which literally means “tree of oil.” It is from a primitive root meaning “to shine.” It is related to the word shemesh, “to be brilliant,” which is also the Hebrew word for the “sun.”

POWERFUL TESTIMONIES

Rejuvenate!

REJUVENATE…
is my word for today…
for as I awakened…
this word I heard Him say.
So Lord,
I take this weekend to rest…
to get rejuvenated…
so I can be my best.
To get healing…
for my body, mind, and soul…
for REJUVENATE!…
is what I have been told.
And as I looked it up…
this definition I did see.
“to make one feel or look young, healthy, or energetic again”…
so Lord, this is what I want to be.
I give You my life…

and ask for rejuvenation…
with healing and restoration…
for a total transformation.

LORD, I Will Trust in You!

It is a good reminder that no matter what we see and what battles we face, we can still trust Him with our lives.  Yes, He is our Mighty Warrior– The King of our fight. Even if He does not give us the answers as we cry out to Him, we can still trust in Him.
