HAPPY QUOTES

Path vs Destination

God has plans for each of us…
but He never promises that it will be easy. He leads us down a path… as we walk toward our destination. But obstacles will be there along the way to teach us and prepare us for the calling that He has for our lives. We just have to trust Him to help us get to the “destination” that He has planned for us.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

HAPPY QUOTES, WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS

At the Crossroads: Joshua 24:15

We are at a crossroads…

from which we must choose.

For the decision that we make…

will cause us to win or lose.

Will we serve other “gods”…

and make our own path…

to be like Sodom and Gomorrah…

with the punishment of wrath.

For the sins that we commit…

are like holding Satan’s hand…

instead of siding with God and His laws…

which many do not understand.

For God’s laws are not democratic…

to which we vote to uphold.

They are written in stone…

where His instructions were first told.

And God is the same…

 yesterday, today, and tomorrow!

But those who choose the wrong direction…

will take a path leading to sorrow.

For many years ago…

His standards were firmly set.

And like many before us…

disobedience we will regret.

ONLINE MAGAZINE, WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS

Malachi 3

As I read parts of Malachi today, I pray for all victims of the abuses of this world. I pray that God will intervene in their lives and set them free from the bondage that holds them in brokenness and bring total healing and restoration for all. Lord, pour out Your blessings upon them… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

 Malachi 3: 3-5

He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi,
And purge them as gold and silver,
That they may offer to the Lord
An offering in righteousness. Continue reading “Malachi 3”

Invest in Your Quiet Time

If we as believers are to enjoy a victorious Christian life which I know we all desire, our quiet time must be upheld in high esteem.  Quiet time is a time set apart for our personal fellowship and communion with God. Some choose to call it, daily devotion or personal fellowship. I call mine “fellowship with wisdom”. Whatever we choose to call it, the bottom line is- our goal should be- growing spiritually.

We are the creatures designed to interact and relate. Our body interacts and understands the environment through our senses: eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. Our mind interacts with the mental realm though thoughts and imaginations. Our spirit also interacts with the spirit realm where God is, through fellowship and communion with God. John 4:24 said “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

Why is quiet time so important?
