Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Continue reading “Colossians 3:1-17”

A Positive Perspective Of Hope
How do you see your cup, half empty or half full? Do you predict the worst will happen in any given situation or are you well practiced at finding the Silver Lining? Is your hope resting on Jesus and His love for you? Hope should never be swept under a rug. It is what moves us through our day. Continue reading “A Positive Perspective Of Hope”
The Whole Armor of God
GOING THROUGH HARD TIMES?
FEELING MISTREATED BY OTHERS?
THESE ARE THE WORDS TO LIVE BY!
Ephesians 6:10-20
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
Fear Not… Isaiah 41:10

Isaiah 41:10 says…
“ Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.“
When we see “Fear not, for I am with thee…”, God is not saying to just fear a little. He is saying NO FEAR. How many of us can reach that level of faith that we have absolutely no fear. No fear about our future. No concern about paying bills, even if we don’t have a job. No fear about food, even when we have no money to buy any. No fear about what we see happening around us. Just total trust in God to truly be our Provider, our Healer, our Redeemer, our Protector… our Everything! It is not an easy walk. It requires “stair-steps of faith” as He teaches us to trust Him for all of our needs. How many of us can achieve this high calling to “Fear Not”? Think about it…
