We have a great commission in life. We are called to make disciples of all the nations, including our own country. So, the rude co-worker and obnoxious neighbor is part of our assignment. God loves His entire creation and wants every person to accept Him as his or her Lord and Savior. This is every Christian’s most important calling and mission in life.Continue reading “The Great Commission: Patience Required!”→
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.“
When we see “Fear not, for I am with thee…”, God is not saying to just fear a little. He is saying NO FEAR. How many of us can reach that level of faith that we have absolutely no fear. No fear about our future. No concern about paying bills, even if we don’t have a job. No fear about food, even when we have no money to buy any. No fear about what we see happening around us. Just total trust in God to truly be our Provider, our Healer, our Redeemer, our Protector… our Everything! It is not an easy walk. It requires “stair-steps of faith” as He teaches us to trust Him for all of our needs. How many of us can achieve this high calling to “Fear Not”? Think about it…
