“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”. Matthew 11:28
Rest is a key to live a happy and productive life.
Rest is not only needed for our physical body, but our mind as well. When we embrace the attitude of living in constant trust in God, our heart gets unburdened from many questions like: What am I going to eat tomorrow? Who is going to help me raise these kids as a single Mom? How am I going to survive without a job?… etc
Did you know that God Himself rested on the seventh day and commanded the Israelite to observe the Sabbath day as a day of rest and worship? The Sabbath day was and is a symbolism of a time when we cease from our works and rest on the finished work of Christ.
Hebrews 4:10 says:
We are at rest when we surrender our need and challenges totally to the Mastermind Who created and upholds the Universe.
