Love is a Verb

Author: Proverbs Way

Don’t tell people about God with your words – Show people about God with your actions.

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-8

“Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:18

“With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:2-3

  1. We should always look like love that when people see us, they will feel and see that we are the children of God. I think most Christians (including me) struggle at this since our world is a cruel world that acting love is very hard to do.
Thank you for this entry! Such an inspiration. 🙂

    1. Oh yes, it is a hard work to live the way God wants us. This world is not that easy… but good thing is we know the truth and we know that we are not alone here.
